You give Dr. Finch the slime sample to examine later. You also borrow a pen from him, and write "FOR VAMPIRES" on the... er, vampire hunting kit.

You open the thin, lighter colored box. It takes a bit of effort, but eventually, the front comes open.

Inside is... some kind of cactus? Maybe?

"It definitely looks organic," Dr. Finch states. "Aside from its odd coloration and texture, I'm not sure if 100 years in a box is more impressive than what a normal cactus could do. ...I'm no expert on cacti, admittedly."

Preeeetty sure cactus' aren't supposed to be blue... we should definitely be careful with this one. It might shoot out its needles or something.

Even cacti need water more than once every 100 years. Granted, those are unmodified earth cacti, so...

Seems harmless for now, examine more closely later, but time for another box.

If these things have been tested on, I'm pretty sure they've been tended to, as well.

Cactus? thing, doesn't seem particularly usefull. I wonder what would happen if a vampire did drink our blood.

Probably should have brought a Geiger counter though. Shit looks radioactive.
Also, Cacti typically bloom when watered, so that might cause a thing. I dunno, it might start talking or something. Have it be a friend for Mom's red while we're mucking about.

Weird, it looks like a Wheezewort from Oxygen Not Included. I wonder if it is one. O_o
