You do your best to signal with the bandage for Ms. Voclain to... uh... hold on a second. You have the bandage snake its way back to the crate, and slip in through the opening you made before.

You ask Fuse and Dr. Finch to help you switch the doors around, as you need to get into Bunker B. You grab one of the burner phones, a pen, and a slip of paper. You write down the number for the phone.

You step into Bunker B (and immediately regret it, as you are in pajamas and not wearing shoes), and once the door is disconnected (and thus hooked back up to the warehouse), you bring your bandage in. You give the phone number to your bandage, then have it slink back out to the warehouse. You give the phone number to Ms. Voclain.

You get the doors switched back around so you can step out to somewhere with cell service. After a moment or two, you answer the phone.

"It's me," she says calmly.

You ask her, first off, if she's Thale's secretary--you think you've seen her before, but she looked... different.

"No," she replies. "That is another. The one closest to him is an earlier attempt. I cannot say her name or his. She is his favorite, at least until he gets it right."

You ask how she knows how long she'll live for.

"An estimation based on the others," she says. "What I can say about it is limited. Only the first few of us adhered to sensible anatomy. Physics has been working against his attempts beyond that."

You ask how she knows when Thale is inactive.

"Every moment he is cognitive, he is passively turning my mind into his. I can feel the burden lift, and I can tell when it is beginning to return."

You ask her where the warehouse is located.

She gives you the address of the warehouse, city and state included.

You ask her if she wants to live. You can save her. Even if it's risky, you've pulled some miracles before. You can save her.

"No," she says, in the same calm monotone. "I am in constant pain. I do not know who I am, but I know why I am here and I will carry that until I die. I am not worth saving."

You ask if she can have that particular crate, and the canister, loaded up into a truck and sent somewhere else.

"Absolutely," she says. "There was another canister here before, which he showed an invested interest in. This one he cares little about. Tell me where you want it sent."

I... understand. It's a bit hard to accept what with the chronic hero syndrome, but it's possible.

As for where to send it... well... we don't have a lot of places to directly send it to without drawing suspicion. We'd have to pull some sort of switching the truck drivers thing to get it to Bunker E where we might want it. As for the crate, we should probably give her a syringe if she wants it through there first.

Seems Thale has his own projects hes been working on.
I wonder whether its an attempt to create someone new, or recreate someone who passed?
Going to remember this for later.
The answer might provide some leverage against Thale.

We should flat out assume this is going to be a trap. Even if Ms. Voclain IS currently cognitive and not just Patton Thale doing a good acting job, he has a tendency to anticipate what we're going to do.
Still, this is way, way too good an offer to pass up. Even if we're likely to face down a Thale mutant or a Carpenter droid, getting that door both gives us security AND a waypoint for other places. Getting Tesla is also a juicy deal.

We can't get out of the city so we'll have to have them delivered here. Lower-tiers is flat out because of Thale's presence there. Middle-tiers is kinda risky but means a shorter drive and thus less of a chance to encounter someone (like the police) on the way back. Upper-tiers gives us the lowest initial risk of an encounter but means a longer drive.
We DON'T want them delivered to any meaningful address (like Rockwell Arcade) just in case, again, this really is Thale or he gets access to this memory/conversation. Our house and Dr. Finch's house are out as well as we've been attacked there before.
I'm thinking Cam's hospital would be the ideal delivery location. We can call in a favor from Cam to accept and hide the items until we get there. Also don't forget to bring Dr. Finch's tracker detector equipment (and a new signal scrambler) just in case.

EDIT: As long as we're in Bunker B, we should tell one of the PJs to go into hiding until further notice. If this deal is not legit, we JUST told Thale 2 items we highly value for him to investigate, ransom and/or destroy. If everything goes fine, we can tell them they can stop being on high alert when it's all said and done.

Sending it to the hospital is a good idea, but might risk getting Cam and co. involved. Can we send it to the abandoned hospital from the start of the comic? Outside of it, so we don't risk running into Carpenter again. We might also want to ask her if she knows which places Thale absolutely won't suspect.
Now that I think of it, also ask her if she knows what Thale did to the street Jane's house is in.

This screams trap to me. Rather than having the crate sent somewhere, we have her send everyone in warehouse away. We blood her (saving her right now is better for our goals than leaving her), then we exit the door right now (Michelle and Caius) this night, no waiting (Thale doesn't know how we got here yet), grab one of the shipping trucks, load up the crate & whatever other crates we can grab, and get the heck out of dodge, and get whatever intel we can from her after (maybe see about helping her rebuild her identity).

okay, first, how far away is the warehouse from us? that'll give us an idea of where to have stuff sent. jury may be able to help us find a safe place for the crate. we don't have one now but we have about two days to find one. ideally we'd like to have the can so we can help tesla, but having it sent into the city might be hard, especially if thale finds out. i guess, she'd probably be able to keep that from him.

so... i guess, tell her we'll work on a place to send the crate, but until then it's important no one opens it. the canister probably has a tracker in it like edison's did, so she'd need to have that disabled before she sends it anywhere. we an probably have it sent to the city, maybe. we've kind of worn out our welcome there, but a quick excursion to pick it up should be alright. we're under a time crunch with her, but we can spare at least a day to get affairs in order. ask her if there's anything in here that she thinks could help us with our end goal. literally any help she can give us is welcome and appreciated.

Thirded, though if we come up with any super bright ideas within the next in-comic hour or so, then we could potentially act upon it sooner rather than later. Otherwise though, this makes sense to me too.

Let's not. I'd rather keep the bunker doors - especially the one with the eldricht monster frozen inside it - as far away from Carpenter as possible.

Aaaaaand we just revealed that this particular crate is important, he's going to get in her mind soon if he's not manipulating her into getting us to spill info right now. She knows too much, we have to save her before he wakes up.She wants to help us, one thing of vital importance right now is that we save her. We have many strengths, but at the moment, secrecy is our biggest one, so saving her is an important one. (Also, I'm worry about her monotone voice, Thale may be feeding us false info, so only way to confirm/disprove what she's said is to bring her in anyway.) Her intel could be highly valuable as well.

Both morals and trust issues say we should try to save her, regardless, and let her make any decisions she wants in that regard after she's saved.

This is my opinion though.

I'd really rather we don't blood her just yet. I doubt waiting a couple of days will make much of a difference, so let's just try to find out what we can do with all of this for now.

I beg to differ - we've already seen that oversyncing is a gradual process. It's not binary, she's not going to just suddenly be oversynced after a certain point and she's fine before that. The longer we wait, the worse her condition gets.

I say we offer her a syringe of blood before we have the door shipped away, and leave it up to her whether she wants to take it or not; maybe leave another for the guards so they don't betray her. I refuse to accept that we can't save her. If she doesn't want to be saved, then so be it. In a sense, I can't blame her, given her circumstances. But I know we can, if she'll let us. Whatever Thale can do, we can do better. Whatever he did to her, we can reverse it, we can fix it. We can fix pain. We can fix nonsense anatomy. If she is already Thale's puppet and he's trying to play us for fools, then so be it, we'll take care of it. But trap or no, I'm not going to turn my back on somebody when we are very much in a position to help them, if they'll let us. I refuse. We didn't get this far by turning our back on people in need. We befriended Michelle, we saved Caius, we rescued Zene's family and Pierce. I'm not about to start turning my back on people now.
EDIT: Someone on Discord suggested putting Caius on the line to speak to her - given the circumstances that a) we met Caius in and b) Caius has since been through, if anybody's qualified to speak about Jane's ability to cheat at biology, it's him.

I'm not afraid of Thale. Dude's a shitbird that needs to have a roof dropped on his stupid head. He wants control? We'll make sure to strip him of that. Bit by bit, until he has nothing left. He deserves nothing less for this absolute horror show he's caused. He thinks he can outdo us with that wimpy-ass printer blood? He is quite mistaken. He thinks he can outsmart us? So far, all he's done for us in the long run is make us infinitely stronger with his generous donation to the "Go Fuck Yourself" fund. We're smarter than him, we're stronger than him, and we have friends. Not puppets that do our bidding because we command them to, friends that help us because they choose to. Friends that will follow us to the ends of the Earth and beyond (and in fact already have) because they believe that we're doing the right thing.

Okay, so order of operations for planning if she does decide she wants to be saved:
-We have to wait at least one day, and preferably at most one day. Wait to use the syringe until the next time Thale is asleep. I hope she'll be okay after that much.
-When Thale falls asleep, sign the order to have the crate and canister shipped away and, once the objects are loaded onto a truck, have one or (if needed) two guards take care of the actual shipping.
EDIT: If Ms. Voclain knows how to get the crates shipped out right now without Thale realizing what's in them, then she should go ahead and do so. I just hope Thale won't catch on.
-As soon as the objects are loaded and ready to go, get in a car (preferably with a guard) and start driving. Doesn't matter where right now, just don't stay at the warehouse. Once you start driving, use the syringe.
End result: The door's gone, Tesla's gone, Ms. Voclain's gone, the guards are gone, and the devil take the rest. Thale can fucking have the warehouse for now if he wants it - we'll have gotten what we came for and we know where the warehouse is now.

If she ultimately still decides against using the syringe... then all we can do is thank her for everything, and promise that we'll take Thale down.

EDIT 2: It was also suggested that we ask her to either give us details on the security system (specifically the turrets) or give the group the needed credentials and/or information to override/control it. Both is ideal.

Send them overseas to a depot pickup in England. Use a boat, shipping is less expensive. It will give us 30 days to figure out how to get it through customs.

Ok, maybe not the best idea. Can of unknown material that cannot be opened and a door with weird energy...

However this is the type of setup we need. Not to an address but to a public terminal we then use a rented truck.

Measure the door and see if it can fit through another door on its side.

If there's time, maybe Jury can suggest a location that's both secure, and would present a difficult location to set up a trap. Maybe she has a safe house that she doesn't mind burning? Otherwise the Tobu hack hospital or maybe even the school (where the Edison attack happened) might be a good spot?

If you really want to change Voclain's mind about dying, then have Caius try to talk to her. He is in a unique position since he was originally an enemy, and has seen first hand the lengths that Jane would go to save her friends' lives.

Before the crate is shipped, maybe we should see if Ms. Voclain can give the group a way to disable the warehouse security system, in case that becomes relevant in the future. If that's not possible, at least see if she can give up details about the system itself.

Ask her how long it would take to send it to wherever we decide to send it to, also we'll be someday raiding the place, so ask her some specifics about how well staffed and armed the place is.
Ask her that if Thale doesn't care for it that much, if Carpenter or another friend of Thale's might?
